AI Open Innovation Challenge

TIMELINE

  • APPLICATION PHASE

    28 October 2024 - 10 February 2025

    The application phase will run from 28 October, 2024 at 10:00hrs (SGT/GMT+8) and will end on 10 February, 2025 at 23:59hrs (SGT/GMT+8).

    Criteria for Application

    The criteria for the application phase are as follows:

    1. Register on the platform.
    2. Select a challenge statement to address.
    3. Complete the participation form.
    4. Submit a 5 to 10 slide PDF proposal deck, including the following details:
      • Problem/solution
      • Market and total addressable market (TAM)
      • Value proposition and positioning
      • Technical aspect
      • Go-to-market strategy
      • The business/revenue model
      • Traction: KPI metrics & milestones
      • Forecast 2024/2025
      • Team Presentation
      • Ability to Execute: Provide details of your organisation’s expertise and experience along with a commercialisation plan if applicable.

    Startups and SMEs are welcome to tackle multiple challenge statements by creating new participations, should you have more than one solution to submit! 

    The deadline for the submission will be on 10 February, 2025 at 2359hrs (SGT/GMT+8). Please note that all the deliverables must be submitted in English.

  • SHORTLISTING PHASE

    February - March 2024

     

    The shortlisting of participants will conclude by early April 2025.


    During this phase, challenge statement owners will evaluate the proposals and the most innovative solutions will be selected to proceed to the clarification phase.

    Shortlisting criteria

    Innovators will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

    • Technical Feasibility of solution and novelty (40%)
    • Business feasibility of solution (30%)
    • Capacity and expertise to execute projects (20%)
    • Clarity & Comprehensiveness of proposal and test plans (10%)

  • CLARIFICATION PHASE

    April 2025

     

    The clarification phase will conclude by the end of April 2025.

    During this phase, our challenge statement owners will conduct 1-to-1 sessions with shortlisted participants for further discussion and clarification, e.g. via online calls or through the challenge platform.

    Additionally, a selected group of participants may be invited to engage in an exclusive mentoring session with our technical partners to gain invaluable insights on effectively structuring their AI proposals.
