The Open Category offers a platform for emerging topics (beyond what is covered in the specific challenge statements), seeking highly innovative and ground-breaking solutions that can tackle challenges across various sectors. This category is your fast track to The Liveability Challenge (TLC) and the opportunity to compete for the prestigious Hexagon Prize, valued at $75,000 SGD.

Why Apply?

By submitting to the Open Category, your proposal will be considered by the Temasek Foundation, Temasek Trust and Hexagon Group, in addition, it may also attract attention from corporate pilot partners and investors if your submission aligns with their areas of focus. These corporates are listed beside their challenge statement(s), and submitting under their specific statements increases your chances of potentially unlocking valuable business opportunities.
